The weather is almost perfect here today. Air conditioning is optional. The sky is blue and there are dozens of puffy white clouds. I got a few pictures. Unfortunately they are stuck on my camera.
Dub has a guitar lesson today. He took his electric guitar to see if the song he is working on sounds better. I thought it sounded great!
I heard today that Heidi’s mother had 12 puppies!! I didn’t know that was possible!
Bible study was last night. I’m really enjoying going through Seeking Him. There is definitely a lot to think about!
We had a contest to see which team could say the most verses so far. I knew most of the verses but none of the references, and the verses I did know, I knew in more than one Bible version so that goofed me up. I need to come up with a mnemonic device to attach each of the references with the verses. I remember the point of the verses, though. That’s the important thing. I’ll just keep on working on them and hopefully will get them next time around.
These are the verses we’re working on so far:

Break up your fallow ground for it is time to seek the LORD until He comes and rains righteousness on you.

Week 5 - Grace

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in our time of need.
Week 6 - Holiness
Hebrews 12:14
Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the LORD.
One of my favorite songs lately is Made to Love by Tobymac. We are made to serve God and God alone. Made to Love talks about that. It’s a great song and very catchy. I tried to download the ringer version to my Sanyo but … well, we won’t mention that company today. It’s such a beautiful day, why ruin it!
Speaking of Made to Love, I found this humorous video on YouTube. I don’t think it’s supposed to be a spoof but a person can’t help but chuckle if they’ve seen real Tobymac vids. I don’t know how to embed videos so you’ll have to click THE LINK. Sorry about that.
