We stayed home from church.
A few of us have been ill.
I have a fever.
I took a couple
of pills to get rid of chills.
Ev’ryone else sweats.

We spent all of the day on the couch.
My head hurt so bad I moaned, “Ouch!”
Mr. N bolted the door
as he left for the store
to buy Motrin for his wife, the grouch.

The dogs were ready to play this morning.
Too bad for them their day was so boring.
I’ve had a headache on and off since Thursday night so not exactly a very edifying post today. Sorry.
