when the Princess deficated about 3# worth on the kitchen floor.
I am thankful that nothing sparked and the house didn’t explode before it got cleaned up. Whewweeee, she can clear out a room!! We’ll all be so glad to get past the housebreaking stage. Puppies are yucky! But they are so cute and they eventually turn into something useful. Like Noah.
We watched Sandlot II tonight. I have to say that I was really disappointed that there was so much “language” in it. (Remember to do the previously mentioned “hand gesture” or you might think I was disappointed that it wasn’t a silent movie.) It would’ve been a good movie if it hadn’t been for that. Same with Monk. I love to watch Monk but MERCY! Every other sentence sounds like the beginning of a psalmist’s urgent prayer!
Speaking of urgent prayer, there’s an astute video link that was recently posted on the Mountford and Mackville blog (see the blogroll as I am too lazy to create a link right now – went and looked it up, scroll down to Monday, Aug 14). It has to do with adopting non-infants. See the Mountford and Mackville and Under the Oaks blogs for info on Reactive Attachment Disorder. This disorder has gotten very little attention for far too long so I want to encourage anyone reading this to go find the video on the M’ford and M’ville blog and then read up a little bit on RAD. The more people who are aware of this, the better for affected families.
